Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum

The American military history museum features a collection of museum ships. The museum was established in 1982. It is amazing to stay side by side with a space shuttle. Do not be fooled, this is a lot more than a train station. It’s more like a multi-variety shopping center with train access. It has so many various bakeries. It’s worth a walk into the main hall. The architecture and ceiling are glamorous. Moreover, it has a classy and historic design.  But do go in twice, as it looks different at nighttime. The terminal and toilets are also very clean. The terminal is a perfect blend between balance and function. This enormous tastefully built terminal will not disappoint.

St. Patrick’s Cathedral

St. Patrick’s Cathedral is the seat of New York’s archbishop. No one can ignore the beauty of this classic cathedral and the graceful artwork and carvings it contains. Be reverent and appreciate your surroundings. Religious or not, St. Patrick’s Cathedral is certainly worth a visit. Everything about the building, the stained glass windows, the relics, and shrines will amaze you. Coupled with the fact that it was recently refurbished, it might very well be the best cathedral in New York. In addition, there is a little shop where you can purchase religious items. You can also take the audio tour. It will show you what the cathedral has within itself, as well as how much meaning everything really has. Most importantly, you can view the cathedral for free.
